The intent of this class is to build on the content of ICS 100 and 200 with a focus on expanding incidents. The objectives for this course are as follows: 1. Describe how the Incident Command System's (ICS) command and management component supports the management of expanding incidents. 2. Describe the incident or event management process for supervisors and expanding incidents as prescribed by ICS. 3. Implement the incident management process on a simulated expanding incident. 4. Develop an incident action plan for a simulated incident. Specifically for this unit, we will look at being able to describe the scope and structure of this course, as well as what it will take to successfully complete it. This course is broken up into eight units, as listed on the screen you are currently viewing. Unit 1 and 2 are meant to serve as a review of what you have learned in previous classes and set the stage for the rest of this class. We will cover most of these two units here, but there will be a few introduction and review components that we will cover face to face.
